The Society's last seminar of the year will feature David Court, Head of the Centre for Screen Business at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS), and his 'despatches from the trenches', in which he'll share his views on the generational divide in attitudes to copyright, the incentive rationale for copyright, fair dealing as a 'safety valve' for more permissive usage, and avenues for copyright reform. This is also the Society's Christmas function and your last chance to get together with your copyright-conscious colleagues to mull over the year's events.
