Jeremy Thorpe: Director, The Allen Consulting Group

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has published a standardised framework for measuring the economic contribution of copyright industries, and is currently developing a similar standardised framework for estimating the value of copyright piracy. Jeremy Thorpe has assisted in the development of both of these frameworks. Jeremy will present the latest estimates of the economic contribution of Australia's copyright industries and outline the key principles underpinning the development of the piracy framework.
