19 Oct 2006: Government's enforcement amendments

In May 2006, the government announced it would make amendments to the Copyright Act to stregthen its anti-piracy provisions. These include changes to presumptions relating to subsistence and ownership of copyright, large-scale internet piracy and pay tv piracy. The speakers will address the background to the government’s announcement and the proposed amendments.
