Copyright in the Federal Magistrates Court: 12 July 2007
The Federal Magistrates Court is hearing an increasing number of cases dealing with copyright. This seminar will look at some of those cases and the process for running a case in the court.
The government also announced on 5 April 2007 – responding to a report by the Advisory Council on Intellectual Property (ACIP) – that it will further expand the court's jurisdiction to cover trade mark and design matters (but not patent matters at this time).
