Kevin Lindgren Prize
The Copyright Society of Australia offers the Kevin Lindgren Prize for the Best Student Presentation in the field of copyright. The Society hosted an event on the evening of Wednesday the 21st of October from 5:30pm in the Sydney CBD.
The three finalists selected from universities around Australia each gave a short presentation on a copyright topic of their choosing. The winner was decided by a judging panel comprised of Dr Kevin Lindgren AM QC, Ms Fiona Phillips (Executive Director Australian Copyright Council) and Jonathan Carter (President of the Copyright Society of Australia).
The finalists were Laura Curtis (University of Sydney), Adam Almog Zimbler (Monash University) and Rochelle Hodge (University of Tasmania).
The panel chose Rochelle Hodge to be the winner of the Kevin Lindgren Prize for 2015.
The winning student will receive the following prize:
- $2000 in cash;
- eligibility for publication in the Copyright Reporter;
- free entry to the 2015 Copyright Symposium to be held in Sydney on 22-23 October; and
- free membership of the Copyright Society of Australia for 2016.
Entries have now closed for the 2015 Kevin Lindgren Prize.
