A fair fight? Sports rights, streaming and social media

The recent unauthorised streaming of Foxtel’s broadcast of the Mundine v Green fight on Facebook Live has thrust the issue of sports rights, streaming and social media into the spotlight. Join our panel for an engaging discussion on how social media is impacting sports broadcasters, copyright owners and fans in Australia in 2017. The panel will consider the position under the existing law, but also how the recent recommendations of the Productivity Commission’s inquiry could play into these issues, if enacted.
