That replica Eames you’re sitting on is just the beginning. Often regarded by artists and designers as confusing and frustrating, the Copyright Act limits copyright protection for artistic works where a product is mass-produced.

This exclusive event with internationally renowned designers David Trubridge & Adam Goodrum, joined by a panel of experts and creators will explore the often fraught world of copyright and design laws. We will also look at recent commentary from the Productivity Commission’s investigation into intellectual property.

  • David Trubridge, internationally renowned designer from Hawkes Bay, New Zealand
  • Adam Goodrum, internationally renowned designer, Adam Goodrum Studio
  • Dr Brandon Gien, CEO of Good Design Australia and Senator, ICSID – World Design Organization
  • Craig Finlayson, Assistant Director – Trade Marks & Designs, IP Australia
